Salmon Chowder Soup Recipe

Serves 4

1 cup chicken broth        
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 (16 ounce) can salmon
1/2 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 (15 ounce) can creamed corn
1/4 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon and 1-1/2 teaspoons butter
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup diced potatoes
1 carrots, diced

1.  Melt butter in a large pot and saute onion, celery, and garlic powder until onions are ready.
2. Add potatoes, carrots, broth, salt, pepper, and dill. Bring to a boil, and reduce heat. Cover, and simmer 25 minutes.
3.  Stir in salmon, evaporated milk, corn, and cheese. Cook until heated through.
